I am ALL about comfort, confidence and creativity when it comes to what I wear. What I love most about fashion is that it gives you the freedom to tweak the newest, latest, or even the oldest fashions trends into what works for you and your lifestyle. (Yes, the 6" heels are cute, but let's face it; they aren't for every occasion). I like to walk out the house feeling comfortable, confident and looking the part! I don't think there's anything wrong with having that "go-to" grocery store outfit, or something cute to walk the dog in. Fashion is so much more than rocking the latest name brands and trends; above all you should always aim to feel good about what you're wearing.

So...I'm reeeally trying to get into the habit of planning my outfits the night before so that I don't spend that much needed 20 minutes in the morning staring at my closet! Fortunately, there is some sort of a method to my fashion madness. Instead of envisioning a "total look" I like to start with finding one piece I'm interested in wearing...in this case it was my bracelet...from there I try to let the creative juices flow! I started with this bracelet I got from Body Central. I loved that it has accents of gold and silver in it so I'm not limited to choosing just gold or silver accessories. I love the versatility with this bracelet and decided to make it my starting point. The black and white threaded patterns are just too cute!

Being that it is still "partly" summer, I try to stick with lighter shades, so I went for this cute, pastel pink button-up top. I love that this top gives a very mild illusion of your silhouette ;). I chose to tie the front for a fun, flirty look; but it can also be tucked. Since the top is somewhat see-through having a tank underneath was a no-brainer. I chose a black tank so the color of the button-up would stand out a little more. Then I paired it with black skinny's to create a sleek, black "canvas" look! The belt was actually a last minute decision...since the belt section shows I wanted to find a belt that would add another dimension to my outfit without pulling away from the jewelry.

I chose the sort of tribal black and gold earrings to match the straight lines in the bracelet. I liked this necklace since it lays flat and won't add any "bulk" to the outfit. The idea is to compliment... not over accentuate.
       

I got these super cute sandals from Charlotte Russe for an amazing deal! I just love what they can do for your outfit!

Hope you like the look! This would be perfect for a laid-back work environment or for that grocery store run! And did I mention our comfortable the sandals were to stand and walk in?!!

I am SO proud of how my home office turned out!! I didn’t think I’d be able to get my own home office in the house I am in how, but - after some readjusting – I was able to fit it in! Thank you for the Pinterest post by Beauty and the Chic for the awesome layout idea with the IKEA furniture! I wanted the space to be super feminine and super inspiring; so I knew the color palette had to be something that popped . Although I absolutely love the color pink, I wanted to find a different color to decorate with. I was able to find this beautiful tufted, teal chair from Ross for only $100! There were only two chairs available…I should’ve just bought them both ;( I wanted a feature wall but didn’t want the wall to be the focus, so I added these thick white stripes for some detail. Jamberry Nail Wraps

I was recently given a sample from the new and rapidly growing company  Jamberry   Nail Wrap. This company offers numerous pre-made nail designs for DIY nail lovers like me to try out at a very reasonable price. The sample I have only gives one of the nail strips but I was able to cut it in half and put the design on two of my nails for a cute accent nail. Application was actually very easily, but the business card sample provides a YouTube link that walks you through how to apply it to your nail. The design I had (pic below) is a navy blue pattern called Mad Mod. I decided to pair it with a solid aqua colored polish on the rest of my nails just to make the pattern pop a little more :). I applied them yesterday (Saturday) and I am excited to see just how long the pattern lasts...if it gets me through the week I will be buying more of these! I am just loving this print! Super Cute Nails!! ;)

So I randomly decided to change my nails tonight! I wanted something super feminine that made a statement so I went with this bright hot pink with a rhine stone nail accent. I think it's just enough to make a statement but not too overwhelming; good fit for any environment. Here's the two shades of polish I used...The hot pink is called BOOM BOOM by Sinful Colors . I chose to accent the accent nail with a light pink metallic polish called Fair Metal by Spoiled ...you could always choose one color for all nails, but why not add more pizzazz?! I loooove the brush for Sinful Colors because it's pretty skinny and makes painting much easier (I have pretty small hands). Both of these nail lines are very affordable and offer a great variety of nail polish colors...I'm in the process of collecting them all ;) I ordered this rhine stone set from Amazon for less than $5! It comes with like 1200 stones in it so you definitely won't run out anytime soon! Al...
